Scheduling and publishing
Date, time, automatic publishing and what each network requires.
Date and time
Every piece arrives with a suggested time, worked out from your best hours. You change it from «Edit date and time». That time is the single source of truth: when it comes, the piece goes out.
Automatic publishing
Visto checks every few minutes which pieces are due and publishes them to the networks you have on. You don't have to be connected or leave anything open.
Publish now
On an approved piece, «Publish now» opens a menu to pick which network it goes to right away.
What each network requires
- Instagram requires an image or a video. It won't publish text alone.
- Facebook and LinkedIn accept text-only posts.
- A network switched off in Branding receives nothing, even if it's connected.
If a piece was approved and never went out, it's almost always one of three things: no time set, the network is off, or the network's permission expired. Check them in that order.
